Membership Dues
All memberships are for an academic year running from September 15 through September 14 the following year regardless of when one applies.
An automated email reminder to renew will be sent 5 days before your membership plan expires. A further email will be sent for an expired membership with a follow-up email on how to renew.

Membership Categories
WNRCASN has three categories of membership. Please review the qualifications for each category before purchasing your membership.
If your status should change through the year (e.g. you graduate and take a faculty position) you will need to email secretary@wnrcasn.ca to reset your membership plan when you renew your membership for the following year.
Active Membership
This category is for full or part-time teaching staff of faculties / schools / colleges of nursing in WNRCASN and the teaching staff of programs and schools of nursing in collaborative programs with them. Active members have full voting privileges at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and any online voting that is initiated throughout the year between AGMs.
Active Undergraduate Student Membership
This category is for any full or part-time undergraduate and non-faculty nursing students in a nursing program affiliated with WNRCASN. Non-faculty nursing students might include the student representatives from the Canadian Nursing Student’s Association (CNSA) who may or may not be attending a WNRCASN member school due to the different regional configurations of the two associations. Active undergraduate student members also have full voting privileges at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and any online voting that is initiated throughout the year between AGMs.
Associate Membership
This category is for former (retired) full or part-time faculty members of a faculty / school / college of nursing, and is also open to full or part-time graduate students who may or may not be faculty members.
